The Current Situation and Progress of Oral Implant Surgery in China
【Abstract】
Amid the rapid population aging and high dentition defect rates in China, dental implants are becoming increasingly prominent for tooth loss restoration. This review systematized surgical advancements and revealed that digital technologies(static guides/dynamic navigation, implant robots)enhance precision and safety, while bone/soft tissue augmentation and tilted implants(All-on-4, zygomatic/transpterygoid implantation)expand indications for edentulous jaws and aesthetic zones while optimizing outcomes. Digitization and precision represent the core future directions in oral implantology.

Restorative Measures in Dental Implantation in China
【Abstract】
Dental implantology in China began in 1983. However, the field progressed relatively slowly due to economic constraints and limited technology dissemination. With the increasing maturity and rapid popularization of implant techniques coupled with the impact of centralized procurement policies in recent years, the field has experienced accelerated development. Although traditional implant placement and conventional impressiontaking restoration methods still dominate clinical applications, digital precision design, implantation, impression scanning, and precision fabrication have become focal points in the development of implants in China. This burgeoning trend suggests that conventional approaches may potentially be replaced in the future.

Current Status of Surgical Procedures for Oral Implant Treatment in Japan
【Abstract】
Accurate surgical procedures in oral implant therapy significantly influence treatment outcomes by preventing complications and peri-implantitis. Therefore, advances in surgical techniques are crucial. In particular, the use of digital technology for diagnoses, treatment planning, and surgical procedures is highly effective. Furthermore, advancements in ancillary procedures such as bone grafting and mucosal augmentation techniques have also been remarkable. As defined by Japan’s new laws, regenerative medicine represents an innovative advancement in surgical techniques for oral implants. Additionally, this cell therapy holds great promise for the future of oral implant surgery.

History and Current Status of Dental Implants in Japan and Certifying System of Dental Implant Specialists
【Abstract】
The use of dental implants in Japan began in the 1960–1970s with the clinical introduction of subperiosteal and blade-type implants. Osseointegrated implants began to gain popularity worldwide in the late 1980s, with this popularity continuing till the present day. Dental implants have recently been established as a part of prosthetic treatments and are widely used in clinical practice. The dental implant specialist systems are currently being established to contribute to the promotion of public dental health.
