Antibacterial Resistance and containment actions in China
【Abstract】 The prevalence of a variety of common resistant bacteria are relatively high in China. Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus is around 40％ ; Cephalosporin and quinolone resistance were the outstanding characteristic of Enterobacteriaceae, carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae showed a rapid upward trend. Carbapenem-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Acinetobacter baumannii are around 25％ and 50％ , respectively. China already sued “National Action Plan to Contain AMR” and some actions（such as surveillance, regulations, guidelines, trainings, etc.）are undertaking.

The Policy of Antimicrobial Stewardship in China: current state and future prospect
【Abstract】 Antimicrobial Stewardship（AMS）refers to coordinated interventions designed to improve and measure the appropriate use of antimicrobials. Chinese government had implemented a package of measures to improve the antimicrobial use. Administrative regulations for the clinical use of antibacterial
agents launched by the National Health and Family Planning Commission of China have been implemented. The AMS policy has effectiveness since its mplementation in 2012.

Current status and control policies regarding antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in Japan.
【Abstract】 Antimicrobial resistance（AMR）is a pressing concern at a global level. Japanese government published national action plan on AMR in 2016, based on global action plan by WHO in 2015. AMR Clinical Reference Center and Antimicrobial Resistance Research Center have been established to implement national action plan. We must understand pattern of resistance and antibiotic use in Japan to enhance antimicrobial stewardship and infection prevention and control as well as public awareness.

Role and effect of regional infection control network against AMR.
【Abstract】 AMR（antimicrobial resistance）is world-wide problem. In Miyagi & Tohoku area, the
regional infection control network has been established since 1999. We have set up action plans（sharing information, corporation & support, education）and tried to control of AMR in various level（healthcarefacility and society）. The isolation rates of AMR has been decreasing yearly because of our activity of regional infection control network.
